Born from a recent collaboration between designer Fukutoshi Ueno and fashion designers, Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson (Easton Pearson) the Bambi Frame Screen series fuses beauty with function and playfulness with sophistication.
While the screens are designed to work as frame hangers for clothing, the unique aesthetic created by Japanese born, Brisbane based Ueno and Easton Pearson, ensures that the screens can also be viewed as artworks in their own right and will enhance any interior space. The design elements are intended to introduce a sense of nature into the domestic living space and encourage harmony between natural and man-made environments.
“We work in partnership through all passages of our process: planning, designing and creating. Personal connections are at the heart of our process and are essential to the way we work,” says Easton.
The collaborative team has sought out the very best local resources to complete this special project. Richard Park of Blok furniture expertly crafts Bambi Screen from quality marine plywood with a digital print treatment, neon acrylic or burl walnut wood hand painted in silver paint and Commex Concepts has facilitated the production of the Le Smoking from black acrylic with white and transparent details.
The Bambi Frame is available from Blok Furniture.
