Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Sculpture and Geometric Forms Collide in QTZ

Australian designer, Alexander Lotersztain’s QTZ collection, a range of geometric seating elements, reflects the prismatic beauty and semi-precious qualities of the Earth’s natural minerals.

Inspired by the naturally occurring geometric forms of Quartz, the QTZ collection is available in a range of powder coat colours and is manufactured in stainless steel using advanced technologies and craftsmanship.

QTZ was launched officially at Milan Design Week 2015, Ventura Lambrate in April, and now the collection is available at Hub Furniture, the exclusive distributor of QTZ in power coat finishes in Australia.

“Each piece in the collection bridges art and furniture in a way that speaks to his passion for materials, technology and craftsmanship,” says Hub Managing Director, Jaci Foti-Lowe.
