Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

‘Saffron Collection’ from Designer Rugs

Designer Rugs’ Saffron Collection marries the brand’s reputation for excellence in quality and design with an affordable price tag.

Hand tufted in New Zealand wool blend with selected designs featuring viscose highlights, the rugs boast the finest craftsmanship and are lusciously tactile. With styles ranging from the essentialist black and white stripes of ‘Chicago’ through the detailed but reserved ‘Osaka’, ‘Othello’, ‘Peacock’ and ‘Watergate’ to the brighter, bolder ‘Hillside’ and ‘Dragon Scales’, the Saffron Range is suitable for a broad range of residential and light commercial applications.

The rugs are designed in Australia and come in stock sizes of 160 x 230cm and 190 x 280cm, but can be custom made to any colour or size including hall runners and circular rugs.
