Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Sublime Sanctuary in Stone

Lie in the lap of luxury with Apaiser bathware’s stone composite new free-standing basin and bath.

At the end of each gruelling workday, there’s nothing more satisfying than escaping from the doldrums of life and sinking into the luxury of a good bath.

Transporting you almost into another dimension, the modern bathroom is more than a functional space – it is a sanctuary of quiet reflection and relaxation.

Perfectly furnishing this personal space, with a touch of luxury in stone, is the Apaiser basin and bath –Lagoon and Sublime.

Aptly named, the Sublime bath’s design is minimalist yet eye-catching, evoking a modern feel with its geometric shapes yet organic lines. In spite of its sumptuous size, it is mindful of space constraints, and is a perfect feature for bathrooms of any layout.

The freestanding Lagoon basin is the ideal complement to the Sublime bath, imposing yet balanced with simplicity.

Both bath and basin are made of Apaiser’s marble-based stone composite, which is durable and requires little maintenance. Affording customers indulgence with a conscience, this eco-friendly material is hand crafted using only recycled marble, and leaves minimal impact on the environment.

The Sublime bath comes in dimensions of 1700 x 850 x 480 mm, while the Lagoon basin is 720 x 410 x 850 mm.
