Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Tribal Friday from Collection of Cool

The debut range of brand new label – Tribal Friday. Designed in Bondi, these are top quality, large sized beach towels that are bold in their colour and design.

This debut range, entitled ‘The Only Place’ is designed in Bondi, and encapsulates all the good stuff of the area, whether it be the gorgeous natural beach or the culture itself.  100% cotton, and a juicy 600gsm in weight, they also come in a branded PVC pouch that can double as a wet bag.  It also helps make them into the perfect gift!  The clever folk there have put the label on the back, so it can be used for hanging. One side terry towelling, the other side velour.

Four fantastic designs; Aqua Splash, Mojito Calling, Bondi Boho, and Chapter one.

Tribal Friday is availabel from Collection of Cool: purveyors of unique, interesting design items. Products that are difficult to find, that fascinate and inspire. A one-stop shop for the impossible to buy for.
