Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Create Beautiful Shade with an Umbrella by Sunday Supply Co.

If you’re a sun lover and coastal dweller, Sunday Supply Co.’s debut collection of beautiful beach umbrellas is a must-have in your summer arsenal.

Sunday Supply Co. has designed a range of vintage beach umbrellas with modern qualities designed to age gracefully and naturally.

Consisting of five original styles, the collection is finished with natural cotton tassels, lightly varnished beechwood and custom-designed aluminium alloy hinge and hardwares. Each print in the range is characterised by soft, vintage tones, and each captures a unique aspect of coastal living, be it the beach, pool, deck or garden.

A UPF30+ premium fabric canopy with a large diameter of two meters throws ample shade from a height of 2.2 meters. The custom designed hinge mechanism and hardwares create a simple collapsible pole covering all angles, and each umbrella with its own handy carry bag.
