Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Kate Alexander is the face behind Wyalla Studio. After a number of years in the commercial lighting industry Kate felt there needed to be a greater range of luminaires available that sufficiently combined beautiful design and the most up to date LED technology. With her background in graphic design and product design this drove her to start designing her own products. With the added ambition to utilise the many talented people in Australian manufacturing this started an obsession that is Wyalla Studio.

To further this range of products Wyalla Studio has teamed up with some talented designers from around the globe. We are the proud exclusive Australian distributor of Hand & Eye Studio from the UK and Valoa by Aurora from Finland.

At Wyalla Studio we are seriously passionate about beautiful lighting products. We believe in not only quality design but most importantly quality light which is why we use only the most technologically advanced LED components in all our products.
