Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Kayak

By Cattelan Italia

The eclectic and sculptural design of the Kayak modern sideboard has been conceived by Andrea Lucatello in order to elegantly decorate residential living rooms and to complete refined contract interior design projects, such as stilish design restaurants.  Whether placed in a dining room or in a living room, this adaptable design sideboard showcases finely selected details and exclusive finishes. The new Brushed Bronze or Brushed Gray finishes create a kaleidoscopic innerplay of light, expanding the range of the traditional glossy lacquered finishes. In the inside, silky clear glass shelves are perfect to preserve the most valuable memories.
