Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

RefreshButler

By V-ZUG

Refresh Butler is an innovative fabric care appliance for private homes. It provides a gentle solution to refresh, sanitise and dry your designer garments, often replacing the need for dry cleaning. The process does not use any chemicals or mechanical friction. As a result, your clothes will maintain their natural look and feel, prolonging their life without harming the environment.

Refresh Butler uses steam and a patented photocatalysis system to effectively eliminate odours. A flow of air at low temperatures replicates the mountain winds in the Swiss alps. This world exclusive process helps to gently care for your best clothes. The RefreshButler’s refresh, crease guard, drying and hygiene
programmes care for valuable clothes as gently as possible.

Refresh
The refresh programme neutralizes odours such as cooking smells and cigarette smoke without the use of chemicals.

Hygiene
The hygiene programme eliminates up to 99.99% of germs and bacteria.

Drying
Warm air quickly dries fabrics and shoes (not fur or leather) in the RefreshButler without any mechanical action.
