Vintage Modern Issue

The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

Caroma Adjustable Flushpipe: Concealed cisterns

By Caroma

It is easy to overlook the importance of what goes behind the wall when it comes to concealed toilet suites. Toilet pans require precise placement of the flush water inlet. In wall cisterns are typically installed before bathroom walls and floors. This means that any variation from specified floor levels will require expensive rectification work to install the toilet pan. Caroma’s new adjustable flushpipe allows plumbers to quickly realign the water inlet without visible damage

Features & benefits:

– Solves pan installation issues where the finished floor tiling has been laid higher than specified preventing the pan inlet from aligning with the cistern flushpipe
– Allows for the outlet centre to be adjusted to the correct flushpipe height, without the need to remove tiles, saving on significant rectification costs and on-site time

Caroma’s adjustable flushpipe is the new standard for all back inlet concealed Invisi Series II suites at no extra cost. This means Caroma’s market leading Urbane, Liano, accessible Care 800 and other concealed toilet ranges incorporate both the Uni-orbital for flexibility with the waste set-out, and adjustable flushpipe saving valuable time on site.
