The breadth and scope of Habitus has always been extraordinary. With how we live at heart of every issue, we have stepped it up with Guest Editor David Flack of Flack Studio shaking the ‘how’ and looking at new ways to make a house a home. With Vintage Modern as the issues theme, we look at the way iconic design has stayed with us, how daring pieces from the past can add the wow factor and how architecture and good design defy the pigeon hole of their era.

High-end decorative wall linings add style and texture to home interiors

With five new profiles and the ability to use the entire range for wet areas, Surround by Laminex decorative wall panels offer endless design potential for any interior project.

In interior design, there are few elements more important than walls in defining the look and feel of a space. Walls bring a finishing element to a room, bringing together furniture, decor, lighting, and colour palette harmoniously together. With the right wall linings, you can transform a functional space into one that delights the senses aesthetically.

Surround by Laminex is a collection of carefully-curated wall linings that have taken the design world by storm with their modern designs, ease of application and affordable price point.

When it first launched in 2021, the Surround by Laminex range featured eight profiles that catered to contemporary and classic styles, from the modernised shapes of the Batten, Scallop and Demi-Round variants to the quintessential Classic VJ 100 and Heritage 150 panels.

Now, Surround by Laminex has expanded the collection with five stunning new profiles, and certified the entire range as moisture resistant, opening up a whole range of possibilities for applications in wet areas such as laundries and bathrooms. The new additions include a brand-new French Stripe profile inspired by the Frenchman’s Breton shirt, which features narrow stripes that add depth and dimension to a modern interior. There are also new additions to the Batten, Scallop and Classic VJ ranges, including Scallop 135, which offers generous defined curves, and the widest of the range, Batten 300, which features 300mm battens that give a polished and contemporary look to any large space.
