With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. Red Dot Award winner the Ploum seating is the fruit of much research into comfort. The result is a special combination of two materials: a stretchable covering and ultra-soft foam. This combination, along with the Ploum sofas’ truly ample dimensions, provides extreme comfort and accommodates different ways of sitting, stretching out or even lying down. The seat of the sofa, can accommodate up to 4 people.
