With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

Tree Table

Tree Table is a perfectly balanced natural design. Simple steel construction underlies solid wooden planks shaped by nature and fashioned in Denmark by some of the country’s most skilled hands. The table combines true craftsmanship and innovative engineering, the result is minimalist and striking in line with dk3’s philosophy and respect for nature. The table is made of solid planks, each plank has its own form and structure, and the cracks and knots provide a unique tabletop. All knots are filled in order to preserve a user-friendly surface, and the natural edges are gently hand-sanded.
