This 150-square-metre apartment on Bronte Road has been designed for short stays and brand activations. Completed by esteemed design practice, DKO, the design boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, but it’s the idyllic coastal spot that makes it just right for unwinding and recharging.
Situated directly across from Bronte beach, the apartment showcases ocean views, bringing the serene beauty of the coast into the living space. The design team at DKO worked with the existing structure of the building, transforming it from a characterless space into a stylish sanctuary. The interior refurbishment was completed in collaboration with Builder JW Projects, resulting in a space that exudes sophistication and calm.

“Our clients provided an open brief, allowing us to redefine the space to have a strong connection to its beachfront location using a tonal palette with natural materiality and organic textures, creating a sense of relaxed yet elevated coastal luxury,” says DKO Senior Interior Designer, Annika Scott.
Clients, John Gasson and Jeanette Gasson, added that “the process was seamless and the outcome sensational.”
Articolo feature lighting is strategically placed throughout the apartment, illuminating the space with a soft, warm glow. The interiors are adorned with neutral, sandy hues that reflect the coastal surroundings, complemented by the use of warm stones and timber. Meanwhile, travertine walls and ZETR power outlets contribute to the refined aesthetic, and brass fittings add a touch of elegance. Tapware from Astra Walker further elevates the overall design.
The specified furniture then adds the luxurious feel of the apartment. The living area features MCM House couches, a dining room set and chairs that provide premium comfort and sophistication. An Armadillo rug, En Gold coffee table and Cult Armchairs contribute to the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, completed with a weekend getaway in mind. The light-filled bedrooms offer a cosy sanctuary, with custom bedhead joinery in the primary bedroom. The room is furnished with Cult and McMullin & Co Armchairs, a McMullin & Co Side Table and Lamp, and an MCM House bench seat.
With its elevated design and breathtaking coastal views, the Bronte Road apartment is an example of quietly luxurious beachside living. Available for short stays and brand activations through the Hotelesque website, this is an apartment for those seeking a serene escape by the sea.
